Real estate has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by conversations about deals, tenants, and the power of property ownership, but back then, real estate wasn’t exactly seen as a “woman’s world.” I listened and learned, even when it wasn’t necessarily expected that I’d ever take it on myself.

 

I officially became a licensed real estate salesperson in 1997, but my introduction to investing happened even earlier. In 1995, I was given my first investment property, although the reality is, my father handled most of the day-to-day management while I focused on paperwork. It planted a seed, even though, at the time, I didn’t fully step into the role of landlord.

 

Life threw its challenges my way. During a difficult divorce, that first property was sold, and for a while, real estate took a backseat in my life. But the dream never left. A few years later, I made the decision to dive back into real estate investing, this time on my own terms, with my own vision, and I never looked back.

 

Today, I proudly own and self-manage 19—and counting—rental units across multiple markets. My journey hasn’t been a straight line, but every twist and setback made me stronger, sharper, and more determined.

 

For me, real estate isn’t just about buildings, it’s about freedom, resilience, and creating a life you don’t need an escape from. I’m passionate about helping others, especially women, realize they have the power to do it too. Through education, coaching, and sharing the real (and sometimes messy) lessons I’ve learned, my mission is simple, to inspire and empower people to take control of their financial futures, one property at a time.

 

Building wealth isn’t reserved for the lucky few. It’s for those willing to take the leap, and I’m here to help light the way.
